As a parent you will want the very best for your children.  

As the Strategic Director of Children’s Services, my ambitions extend beyond my own 3 children to the 129,000 children and young people of Bradford.  

To achieve these ambitions we need to ensure that we provide the very best schools, safeguarding and health services as well as support parents when they need assistance.

In my time of working for Bradford, I have seen many examples of excellent provision but we need to develop more consistency across the District.  

I also believe that parents and carers should take full responsibility and be supported to do so in helping their children fulfil their potential and be mindful of the fantastic opportunities and potential risks.
